Two wizards. One village. Endless waves.
Guards of the Castle is an arcade wave-defense game in whimsical 16-bit pixel art. Orcs, goblins, trolls and skeletons march down the field toward the village wall. Cordelia guards the left side and Magnus the right: slide each wizard up and down its rail to line up the shot, and their magic bolts fly on their own. Every enemy that reaches the wall smashes a cottage. Lose them all and the castle gate falls.
Play with two thumbs, one wizard each, or share one phone with a friend and take a side each. On an iPad, two players get the whole battlefield.
Every fifth wave brings a boss: the Orc Warlord and his very big axe, the Skeleton Brute and his giant bone, then the Red Dragon and its fire breath. Beat one and pick a boon card for the rest of the run. Then they come round again, faster and meaner, and the waves never run out.

- Spend your coins in the Spellbook: power upgrades, five spells to unlock, and outfits, bolt trails and castle flags
- A Game Center leaderboard for your best score
- Original music and sound effects
- iPhone and iPad, plays offline, no account needed
Fair ads, one optional purchase: Ads only play when you choose them (to continue once a run, or to double your coins at Game Over), plus at most one short ad when you leave the Game Over screen, never during play and never in your first few minutes. Every ad is general-audience (G-rated) and none are personalized. The optional one-time Supporter purchase removes that ad, gives both rewards without an ad, and adds a Supporter-only look for your wizards. It is a purchase, not a subscription, and Restore Purchases is built in.
